What am I about

The craftsman behind the carvings

My name is Dwight Ferguson. I started DLF Custom WoodCraft because I believe the things you keep closest should mean something — not just look good on a wall.

Every piece I make starts with something real: a photo you took of a beloved pet, a drawing your kid made, the house where a family made its memories. I take that and carve it into wood — and finish by hand, one piece at a time. The result is something you can't buy off a shelf.

I work with customers directly from start to finish. When you send me your idea, I take the time to understand what the piece means to you, not just what it looks like. That's what makes the difference between a decoration and something you'll pass down.

How It Works

Provide a general description of the items below and introduce the services you offer. Click on the text box to edit the content.

Share your idea

Send Dwight your design, photo, or concept. A clear photo works best — the more detail you share, the better the finished piece. You can upload it through the contact form, email it, or just call to describe what you have in mind.

Get your custom quote

Dwight reviews your design and sends back a quote based on size, detail level, and wood type. Most quotes come back within 24 hours. No commitment until you're happy with the plan.

We carve it, you love it

Once you approve, and payment is made, production begins. Every piece is carved to order. When it's finished, your carving ships directly to you — ready to display, give as a gift, or keep as a family heirloom.
